Jessica Misek, hailing from Oakville Soccer Club, is a talented player that graduated from the OPDL and into League1 reserves. Her commitment to the game is evident on and off the pitch. With over five years of experience as a volunteer Coach, Jessica helps mentor up-and-coming Coaches at Oakville Soccer Club. 

 “A natural-born leader,” is how Jessica’s Club describes her, noting that she has a Gold, Silver, and Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award under her belt. In school, she’s been awarded in areas like Computer Science, French and Athletics. 

Jessica is now a student at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration and her Bachelor of Science.

Chantal Senior is a triple threat – Player, Coach and Match Official. She’s an inspiration to younger girls in the game, according to Brams United Soccer Club. She’s a high-level athlete and dedicated youth Coach, volunteering with the Club since 2018. 

Chantal also excels in the classroom, earning a 4.0 GPA in all four years of high school. She is a member of the STEM Club, Red Feather Club and serves as the President of her school’s Athletic Council. 

Now attending the University of Ottawa, Chantal is working on an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics – Applied Studies in Kinesiology. 

George Ansell is a student from southwestern Ontario who is involved with the Chatham Youth Soccer Association. While George is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Guelph University’s One Health program, he is also a dedicated Match Official with goals of working at the University/College and provincial level. 

George has demonstrated his passion for the game through coaching, refereeing and captaining his high school soccer team. Chatham Kent Youth Soccer Association calls George “a leader on and off the pitch,” mentioning that he is also an Honour Roll and Ontario Scholar student. 

Izabella Stalteri is a member of Woodbridge Soccer Club with a huge passion for the game. She captains her team, but also Coaches, volunteers and serves as a Match Official with her Club. On the side, she also finds time to run her own embroidery business, which she started in 2021. 

Woodbridge Soccer Club calls Izabella a “natural-born leader.” She makes a big difference in their community, but is also involved in school through debate, student government, golf, and – of course – soccer. She’s maintained Honour Role status throughout high school with an average consistently over 90 per cent. Now at Western University, Izabella hopes to complete the Politics, Philosophy, and Economics degree. 

Izabella’s brother Leandro attended the 2023 Centre Circle Awards to accept the award on Izabella’s behalf. 

Camille Jelenik has been a valued member of East Gwillimbury Soccer Club for more than 10 years. She plays soccer at a competitive level, making a great role model for younger kids, but it is through Coaching that Camille has made the greatest impact on grassroots players.   

Camille started out volunteering but has since become a certified Coach, and has Coached almost continually for the last five seasons. East Gwillimbury Soccer Club says Camille has “an undeniable passion for Coaching,” and has been a positive influence on hundreds of children through this role, as well as refereeing. 

Nowadays, Camille is studying Health Sciences at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University.
