Milkup Future Leaders Award - Central: Chantal Senior

Chantal has been a valued volunteer at Brams United since 2018, assisting at several Club and community events. Most recently, in 2020, Chantal expanded her Club experiences by becoming a certified Match Official through Ontario Soccer and starting her NCCP coaching credentials. Chantal has taken the initiative to continue her officiating and coaching education and applied this knowledge as a mentor coach in the Brams Active Start and U8-U12 Development Programs. Chantal is currently playing in the Golden Horseshoe Soccer League with Milton Youth Soccer Club.

Her accomplishments in the classroom are also quite impressive, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and honour roll throughout her high school career. She was recognized with the Highest Mark Award for both Business and Field Sports. As a compliment to her academic studies, Chantal is a HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) - Education Lead for Sports Medicine. She is also a member of STEM Club and the Red Feather Club – a group that brings awareness to the National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls.

Chantal was a member of Junior Band and part of the winning group for the Ontario Band Association Provincial Championships in 2019-20. She was also in Senior Band, Varsity Girls Flag Football and a QB1 Quarterfinalist, Team Co-Captain of the Varsity Girls Soccer, and Athletic Council President.

Chantal is now attending University of Ottawa Honours earning her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics in Applied Studies in Kinesiology (French Immersion Stream) Program.
