Milkup Future Leaders Award - East: Izabella Stalter

Izabella has been an active member of the soccer community for over 10 years and a steadfast member of the Woodbridge Soccer Club. Izabella has demonstrated a strong commitment to community throughout her involvement as a player, coach, referee and volunteer within the soccer community. In for the summer of 2022, she served as team captain and was a member of the championship winning U17 Girls IModel C2 division team.

She also contributes in other ways via the Woodbridge Soccer Club – as a match official, as a volunteer at summer camps, and as a volunteer at various other community events such as the National Championships in Vaughan and the MilkUP Ontario Cup. She has also worked as a coach with the Mini Soccer program in the summer of 2021. Izabella played in The Bridge Annual Golf Tournament hosted by the Woodbridge Soccer Club and won the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin awards in the Female category.

In addition to her clear commitment to soccer, Izabella has also been able to balance her academic pursuits and other interests. Izabella has completed the academically rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Holy Cross Catholic Academy, maintaining an average above 90%. She has also annually earned the honour of being on the Principal’s List.  

Izabella has also shown leadership by participating in extracurricular school programming. She has played on the girl’s soccer team at Holy Cross Catholic Academy and competed on the school Golf Team. Izabella has been the Secretary of Student Government, a member of the Debate team, a writer for the school newspaper, and a member of numerous other clubs.

Izabella is now attending Western University, and earning a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.
