Ontario Soccer is looking for additional Ontario Cup Tournament Hosts for the 2018 Ontario Cup.

The deadline for Clubs to submit the applications to its District Association was Jan. 12, 2018, however, we are looking for additional hosts in most of the divisions.

Ontario Cup Tournament Hosts will only be required to host one 4-team group, however, there are specific time periods set out that Hosts will have to schedule games in that are slightly narrower than previous years.  These details will be outlined on the Tournament Host Application Form.  In total, each host would be responsible for hosting 2 games on each day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

There are a number of benefits to hosting an Ontario Cup Tournament including:

• Host team would not be drawn to the Preliminary Round so it would guarantee starting the Ontario Cup in the Tournament Round
• Host team “plays at home”
• Have some flexibility in scheduling games as long as within timeframes
• May cost less to host a Tournament Round than it would for team to travel

The Ontario Cup Tournament Host Application Form for the 2018 Ontario Cup is available on the Ontario Soccer Website.  Please submit the Ontario Cup Tournament Host Application Form to your District Association by no later than March 1, 2018.
