Registration for the Masters Provincial Championships (Men and Women) will close Wednesday, May 4, 2016.

Previously known as the Masters and Classics divisions of the Provincial Soccer Championships, these competitions is now simply known as Masters (referring to both the men's and women's divisions).

This change brings the Ontario Soccer Association into alignment with the divisions offered at the National level, and also aligns with sport across the globe. 

The Masters (Men) age division is Over-35, and for Masters (Women), the age division is Over-30. 

For those that have participated in the past, the Ontario Soccer Association have changed the dates to accommodate a longer lead time ahead of the Nationals in September. The Semis and Finals will be played in one weekend. The Semis will be played on the Saturday and the Finals being played on the Sunday. The new dates are August 27 (Semis) and August 28 (Finals). 

Winning teams from each of the Men’s and Women’s divisions will have the opportunity to represent Ontario at the National Championships in September.

The Masters Men will be hosted in the province of Québec (city TBD), while the Masters Women will be hosted in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Dates for both of these competitions are September 23-25, 2016.
