Students attending a Soccer For All Conference at the Crescent School in Toronto got a chance to experience two new versions of soccer that will both be visible at this summer's Para Pan Am Games.

Canadian National Team Manager Doug Lusk took members of the National Para Soccer team through a warm-up and passing practice which included students from Jarvis Collegiate. OSA Club Development Manager Matt Greenwood was also on hand to assist with the delivery of the event.

The Para players are all in contention to represent Canada this summer at the World Championships in England (June 13-19th) and then at the Para Pan Am Games 7-a-side tournament in Toronto (August 7-15th).

Crescent School students were involved in a blind soccer session that entertained both the participants and the crowd.

During the hour session the role of the guide was highlighted as players became familiar with their 'new' surroundings before moving into a passing practice and finishing with a small game.

"The clinic was both interesting and informative for all in attendance. It helped to make for an enjoyable day of soccer with the involvement of all the different groups," Organiser and Director of Football at Crescent School, Dick Howard said.
