Recognizing Ontario's Newest Quality Soccer Providers

In Canada Soccer's latest National Youth Club Licensing Program update, five Ontario Clubs received the designation of Quality Soccer Provider (QSP).

Last week, Canada Soccer announced March 2024 updates to its National Youth Club Licensing Program, sharing that 71 clubs have been accredited - five of which are based in Ontario.

“We are very pleased to announce another group of clubs who have met the Standards for Quality Soccer as well as those who have achieved a higher category of recognition,” Canada Soccer's Director of Development Dave Nutt said in the announcement. ”These organizations are making a commitment to providing safe, fun, accessible and inclusive, and developmentally appropriate programming, which are the principles that underpin the Canada Soccer National Youth Club Licensing Program. Canada Soccer would like to thank our Member Associations for their support in implementing the Club Licensing Program as well as the clubs for their hard work in raising the standards of soccer in Canada as well as the clubs for their hard work in raising the standards of soccer in Canada.”

Force Soccer Academy

Fergus Elora District Soccer Club

Giovanni Caboto Soccer Club

Paris FC*

Ancaster Legacy Football Club (“upgrading” from 2022 provisional license)

QSP is the entry-level designation in Canada Soccer's National Youth Club Licensing Program. In order to qualify as a QSP, member organizations must meet a series of eligibility requirements and provide a developmentally appropriate, safe, enjoyable, accessible, inclusive and welcoming playing environment for their participants. 

The application window for the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program in Ontario re-opened on February 1, 2024 for Clubs at the level of QSP. Read Bulletin I2024-09 for more details.
