Ontario Soccer and Gatorade® are thrilled to announce the return of the Gatorade 5v5 Tournament for 2024! Event registration is open to all sanctioned Club Competitive Youth teams under the banner of the Canada Soccer Club Licensing program.
CANADA FINALS 5v5 TOURNAMENT INFO:
Dates: Saturday March 23rd (Female) & Sunday March 24th (Male)
Location: Pickering Soccer Centre, 1975 Clements Rd, Pickering
Who: 2008 Born OPDL & Competitive Teams – Male & Female
Team: 6 players (5 position players & 1 GK)
Format: Minimum 3 group games per team; group winner’s move on to the knockout stage
Cost: $350/team – club teams can enter more than one 6 player team
WHAT IS GATORADE 5v5?
Gatorade 5v5 is an event organized for soccer players to promote young talent around the world, giving players a chance to feel like professionals and the chance to represent their country in a global tournament facing off against teams from around the world.
The winners (1 boy’s team & 1 girl’s team) of our 5v5 Tournament in March will represent Canada at the Global Finals in London, England in May of 2024. The winning teams will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the Global tournament in England.
Additionally, the winners of the Global Finals will receive tickets to the 2024 UEFA Champions League Final in London, England at Wembley Stadium. Other participating teams will get to watch the game from an exclusive Gatorade 5v5 viewing party.
