Ontario Soccer, in consultation with Canada Soccer and public health authorities have been monitoring the most recent developments of COVID-19 and are currently assessing operations (postponements and cancellations) on a month-to-month basis as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold.

In an effort to help alleviate pressure on District Association membership, Ontario Soccer has extended the deadline for 2020 Player Registration and 2020 Ontario Cup Registration.

Ontario Soccer, after discussion with our Membership, has decided to extend the registration deadline for the minimum eleven players from the current April 30, 2020 deadline to May 15, 2020.

As per Section 5 – REGISTRATION Procedure 5.9

A Club must register, by no later than April 15, the Minimum eleven players required on each team playing in a Youth Provincial Division or in a Youth Regional Division.

As well, Ontario Soccer has extended the deadline for registration of the Ontario Cup until May 6, 2020.

To assist with understanding the potential return to play options we are planning for the Ontario Cup to run in 2020, Ontario Soccer has developed this resource document as a guide. 

Ontario Soccer also acknowledges the difficult financial times that some organizations may be facing during this COVID-19 crisis. 

As a result, the Ontario Cup entry fee deadline has been extended beyond the entry deadline. 

Payment for the Ontario Cup will be due by no later than May 25, 2020.

Please note that should the 2020 Ontario Cup competition be cancelled, all teams that have entered will receive a full refund.

The 2020 Ontario Cup Entry Form is available on the Ontario Soccer website.  Please note that entries will not be accepted after the deadline.

The Ontario Cup Draw was originally scheduled for May 12, 2020, but will now be held on May 26, 2020.
