It was a blowout for London Alliance FC Mustangs Sunday afternoon in the U13 Girls Final at the 2024 Ontario Indoor Cup Presented by Sport Chek. They defeated Milton Youth Soccer Club in a decisive 6-0 victory at the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre in Vaughan. 

London Alliance FC Mustangs wasted no time asserting their dominance, unleashing a flurry of goals  within the first six minutes of play. It was Emilia Vilos who opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a masterful shot from distance. 

That moment seemed to fire Vilos up while catching her opponents off-guard, as she managed to double the score just a few moments later with the help of two teammates. Abby Hardy initiated the play with a shot that was blocked by Milton keeper Danika Jones. London’s Zoey Taylor captured the rebound, passing back to Hardy, who sent the ball over to Vilos. Vilos past the ball into the net for a second. 

Building on Vilos’ back-to-back goals, Taylor decided to join her teammate on the scoreboard. She scored the third goal of the half after stealing the ball from an opposing player and sending it over to Vilos. Once Taylor was able to break free, Vilos gave the ball back to Taylor who drove towards the net and took the ball around Jones, easily finding the back of the net. 

This early lead set the tone for the rest of the match, as London Alliance FC Mustangs maintained offensive control while allowing Milton only three shots in the first half. The final half started out much the same, with Abby Hardy scoring another goal for London in the 26th minute after a great pass from Sofia Martins. 

In the 30th minute, Olivia Kola wanted in on the action. After dribbling past multiple defenders, she scored another impressive shot from distance for London. A new keeper was sent in for Milton, but the scoring continued for London. In the 44th minute, Adriana Tamburri scored the sixth and final goal.
