Matt has worked for over 20 years as a chartered professional accountant and certified information systems auditor. He started his career with Deloitte and now, for the past 12 years, he has been running his own consulting practice. Matt has also taught accounting at Carleton University.

Matt has been a soccer volunteer for 25 years. He is passionate about coaching and started at the age of 14. He has coached at least two teams each season since then. Matt has coached teams to numerous city titles in Ottawa, including the past nine straight Men’s premier OCSL titles, three provincial championships and two national championships earning a gold medal and bronze medal.

Matt has also served on local soccer club Boards as a Director for Senior Soccer, Treasurer and Chair. Matt was elected to the Ontario Soccer Board of Directors in 2019 and serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee.
