For almost 30 years, Fabian Best has volunteered countless hours for soccer in Ontario. Fabian has been involved at all levels of the game, from club to district to provincial roles during his time.

Since 1995, Fabian Best has devoted a considerable amount of his time developing and improving soccer in the Durham Region. Spending most of his time volunteering with the Pickering Football Club, Fabian has held the roles of Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Manager over the years. Most notably Fabian has coached the 1984, 1985, 1992, 1999, and 2003 boys for most of their youth soccer lives. Fabian also spent time coaching with Oshawa Kicks SC and Whitby FC.

As mentioned, in addition to his time at the club level, Fabian has served on the Durham Region Soccer Association Board since the early 2000s and has greatly contributed to the Durham Region Soccer Association over the years. He has served on the Board of the DRSA as a Governor and has worked in many areas. Most recently he was the Chair of the Risk Management Committee and facilitated all of the DRSA’s Volunteer Screening Workshops. Fabian was also a member of the Ontario Soccer League Management Committee.
