Roshan Mendonca, is nominated for the High Performance Award for his hard work on and off the field.

Roshan started his refereeing career at the age of 12 years old in the house league system.  He then advanced into officiating in the Scarborough Scardeso development programs - 4 V 4 through 7V7 and 9 V9, and received many positive reviews which prompted him to make the decision to take Refereeing seriously as he entered the 11 V 11 leagues which propelled him into his present position today.

Roshan graduated this year from Carlton University in Ottawa, where he studied Law, and was also admitted into the Ontario Soccer Regional Upgrading Program. Additionally he is now employed as a police officer in the City of Toronto.

Roshan is in his 5th year as elite referee which entails him officiating some of the top games in the province including League 1, OUA, OCAA and Ontario Cup games.  Roshan gives back to younger referees by volunteering his time at the District of Scarborough Advanced Assistant Referee Training sessions held in Scarborough, and officiating in The Robbie International Soccer Tournament which supports a Canadian Charity Cystic Fibrosis.
