Roy Nasrallah is responsible for sharing the story of the CPL – including putting a national spotlight on its founding clubs, athletes and Canadian soccer’s avid supporters. He has been one of the visionaries behind the league’s acclaimed branding.
An expert in sports culture, Nasrallah spent several months travelling across the country to learn about Canada’s passion for the global game. Throughout #RoyOnTheRoad, Nasrallah met with hundreds of supporters, players, volunteers, politicians and business leader who all who share a passion to build the game of soccer in Canada and create a professional league of our own.
Before joining the CPL, Nasrallah spent 15 years with Nike’s Middle-East division where he was responsible for creating their brand vision through strategy, brand communications, digital marketing, retail marketing, visual merchandising, events and sponsorship divisions across the key regions. Nasrallah worked on several award-winning marketing initiatives including the creation of the globally acclaimed Nike Pro Hijab – the inspirational initiative that was designed to inspire Middle Eastern Women to adopt and embrace a healthy lifestyle.
