Erin Mills Green edged the Richmond Hill Raiders in the U-14 Girls Ontario Futsal Cup final with a 2-1 scoreline.
The side in green dominated the possession and pace of the game to ultimately overcome their opponents.
Their first meeting in the tournament round saw Erin Mills Green boast 6 goals past Richmond Hill, perhaps as a foreshadow of what was to come in the Ontario Futsal Cup final at Durham College in Oshawa.
The crowd at Durham College saw two competitive sides push for goals but stopped by both sides' strong defensive presence.
A consolation goal by Adrianna Abdulla was all the Richmond Raiders were able to get past their opponents, while the two goals from Erin Mills Green came by way of Jahkaya Davis and Olivia Blair which proved to be the difference.
The final score of 2-1 sealed the championships for Erin Mills Green making them the U-14 Girls Ontario Futsal Cup 2019 champions.
