Ontario Soccer has reviewed the time it takes to process payments to members and suppliers. In addition, Ontario Soccer have reviewed with our bankers, the incidence of and increasing potential for fraud in relation to the preparation and distribution of paper cheques.

Accordingly, Ontario Soccer are transitioning all payments made by cheque to electronic payments.

In order to ensure that your payments continue to be processed in a timely manner, please complete the attached form and follow submission instructions.

Ontario Soccer strongly encourages the use of electronic payments via EFT. EFT payments provide both the sender and receiver with the advantages of improved controls, reduced chances for cheque fraud, better cash management, greatly reduced bank charges as well as quicker time to receipt of funds and time saved in not having to attend at one’s bank and stand in line.

Remittance information will be emailed to the email address you provided on the EFT form. When your payment is made via EFT, funds will be available in your provided bank account between 2-3 business days from the date of the remittance notice.

If payment by cheque is requested after April 1, 2019, a fee of $25 will be applied to cover the cost of printing, mailing, and handling.
