The 2018 Ontario Academy Soccer League (OASL) concluded this past weekend, with a formal awards ceremony hosted at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

The OASL crowned seven teams League Champions in the following divisions:

• Under 14 Boys Tier 1 – Rush Canada Soccer Academy
• Under 14 Boys Tier 2 – Brazilian Soccer Academy
• Under 14 Girls Tier 1 – London Football Academy
• Under 15 Boys Tier 1 – Rush Canada Soccer Academy
• Under 16 Boys Tier 1 – FC Durham Academy
• Under 17 Boys Tier 1 – London TFC Academy
• Under 17 Girls Tier 1 – ANB Futbol Academy

The Ontario Academy Soccer League (OASL), a pilot project launched in 2017, is an Ontario Soccer strategic initiative designed to implement a soccer academy stream, made up of private academies, in alignment with Ontario Soccer’s player development pathway.

In October, Ontario Soccer’s Board of Directors approved that the pilot continue in 2019 under the management of Ontario Soccer while the governance structure for Ontario Recognized Academies is worked out. The long term vision as stated by the Board of Directors, is to build a unified Ontario Soccer system
