Ontario has clear path for gold on Day 4 of 2018 Canada Soccer Toyota National Championships

Ontario representatives across the board are in reach of the finals

Ontario’s Scarborough GS United will face Surrey United SC of British Columbia in the Gold Medal match at the Jubilee Trophy in Saskatoon, SK. In their Day 3 match, they were still able to secure a top spot in Group A despite losing to Edmonton Victoria SC 1-0 thanks to a goal from Alberta’s Veronique Mayer.

In Challenge Trophy action Caledon SC remain atop Group B on Day 4 which qualifies them for the Gold Medal match on Teck Finals Day 8 October.

U-17 Cup in Surrey, BC

Ontario Quebec and British Columbia all have provincial representatives qualified for the U-17 Cup Semi-Final matches at the 2018 Toyota National Championships.

In the Girls U-17 semi-finals the Burlington Bayhawks are set to meet Coastal FC for a chance to push their way through to the Gold Medal match on Teck Finals Day on October 8. The Bayhawks earned their way to the semi's with a 3-0 display against Alberta's Sherwood Park Phenoix thanks to goals from Amanda West who scored two and Jordan Faveri got the other goal.

In the Boys U-17 Cup Vaughan SC edged their way to the finals alongside British Columbia and Quebec representatives. The Vaughan Azzurri defeated Calgary Foothills 3-1 with a hat-trick from Kadiebue Kadiebue.

U-15 Cup in Laval QC

Ontario Quebec and Alberta all qualified for semi-final action in the U-15 Cup on both the boys and girls side.

In the Boys U-15 Cup Woodbridge Strikers defeated Laval AS Blainville in a 1-0 victory to edge their way to the semis. The lone goal came from Adam Di Vittorio.

In the Girls U-15 Cup the Cumberland Cobras struck hard with 3 goals in a 3-2 victory over Laval CS Repentigny of Quebec. The three goals came from Flavie Dube, Florence Belzile, and Amelia Thompson.
