Scarborough's G.S. United reigned supreme against Mississauga's AC Soccer Diavoli to lift the 2018 Men's Masters Championship at the Civic Stadium in Oshawa.

Darnien Pottinger opened the scoring in the 15th minute to start off a match that would later be riddled with goals and competitive edge.

Canadian star and former Toronto FC player Dwayne De Rosario followed suit to gain another goal for the Scarborough side in the 35th minute giving G.S. United the victorious edge going into the second half.

However, despite being down by two goals AC Soccer Diavoli clawed their way back into the game in a big way in the second half to equalize.

The Mississauga side answered both of G.S. United first-half goals in the 50th minute and 75th-minute thanks to efforts from Edgar Jamie and Alejandro Mantero.

The sides held the equal 2-2 scoreline until the final whistle putting them into extra time and then dreaded penalties where G.S. United ultimately won from the spot 4-3.
