FC London women extend astounding unbeaten streak to 27 matches by snapping Durham's five game run

Winning streaks were built upon or broken in League1 Ontario's Matchweek 7, with one side extending their incredible unbeaten run.

Women's division leaders, FC London, snapped second place side Durham United FA's five game winning streak with a 2-0 result, in the process, extended their remarkable unbeaten record to 27 matches in all competitions.

Woodbridge Strikers women also continued their winning ways by beating local rivals, Vaughan Azzuri, while West Ottawa women snagged their first win of the 2018 campaign at the expense of North Mississauga.

On the men's side, leaders Toronto FC III prepared for their upcoming L1 Cup Quarter-Final this weekend ahead by building upon a six game unbeaten run in the league with a 10-0 shellacking of Windsor TFC.

Aurora men will look forward to creating a run of their own after getting their first win of the season, beating Brampton neighbours, Pro Stars, 2-1.
