The Ontario Soccer Summit 2018, presented by Respect in Sport, got off to a fantastic start on Day 1.
Dr. Stephen Norris, the first keynote speaker of the weekend, had the audience enraptured as he spoke about the playground to podium journey and reminded Ontario why soccer is in a unique position to impact the world like no other sport can.
His keynote speech will be available on OntarioSoccer.net on March 12.
Immediately following his keynote, the Ontario Soccer Club Excellence Awards took place. The first of its kind in Canada, it has run successfully since 2007 and clubs continue to impress with their commitment to raising standards in the game.

Earlier in the day, District Administrators held their workshop, the Technical Advisory Committee met and the Ontario Player Development League clubs met and attended exclusive sessions.
The day concluded with the SportsEngine Kick-Off reception which was hosted by the North York Soccer Association.
