What you need to know for Ontario Soccer Summit 2018

The wait is finally, almost over. 

The Ontario Soccer Summit 2018, presented by Respect in Sport, will take place this weekend, March 2-4, 2018, at Seneca College - Newnham Campus. 

Speakers are coming in from all over the planet to deliver the best-in-class development for coaches, match officials and administrators in Ontario. 

If you or your club have still not purchased tickets to the Ontario Soccer Summit, there is still time.

For those that have already purchased your tickets, here's what you need to know ahead Ontario Soccer Summit 2018. 

Map of the Venue and Where to Register

The first thing Ontario Soccer Summit delegates should do when they arrive for the weekend is head to registration. 

Registration and the Ontario Soccer Summit headquarters are located in the SeneCentre (Building F on the Map). Delegates are reminded that they need to wear their Ontario Soccer Summit lanyard all weekend to ensure access to your sessions.

Click here to select your sessions and follow these instructions. 

  • Login in - upper right corner
  • Click your username
  • Choose Account Settings
  • Choose Registrations
  • Click on ‘order details’
  • Click on ‘entry’
  • At the bottom of the page, it will say 2018 Ontario Soccer Summit, and the word ‘edit’ in blue
  • Click on ‘edit’

What do I do for lunch?

Lunch is served to delegates on Saturday at 12 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Seneca Cafeteria (shown on the map.)

Organize your weekend during the 2018 Ontario Soccer Summit with the user-friendly Whova App. Attendees of the Soccer Summit can sign into the app using the e-mail address associated with their registration.

Let's Get Social

There will be two official Ontario Soccer Summit social functions over the weekend. 

  1. Friday night @ 9:30 p.m .– Following the keynote in the SeneCentre – Kickoff Reception and Club Excellence Awards
  2. Saturday night @ 9:30 p.m. – Fox and the Fiddle - 865 York Mills Road, #5, North York, Ontario M3B 1Y6

Be sure to take in the special screening of Swift Current with Sheldon Kennedy

On Saturday, March 4, in partnership with Respect in Sport, the Ontario Soccer Summit, are proud to present a special screening of Sheldon Kennedy's documentary Swift Current - which centres around the abuse he suffered as a youth athlete. 

The screen will take place in the Great Hall - Building A at 6:30 pm followed by an intimate Q&A session with Sheldon Kennedy himself.

Submit your questions upon arrival that you wish to be shared with Sheldon.

The event is free for Ontario Soccer Summit delegates and for a suggested donation of $5.00 for the general public.
