Play. Inspire. Unite.

The U-16 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup final featured the Woodbridge Strikers and London Red Devils on Sunday.

Woodbridge were under pressure early from London as they defended against wave and wave of attacks. Woodbridge keeper Joey Guzzo made several dazzling saves to ensure the score remained locked at 0-0.

Woodbridge would come alive towards the half as several counter attack opportunities led to good chances but London’s keeper Dylan Da Silva was equal to the task.

Both teams would head into the break knotted at 0-0.

The goalies would star again in the second half as each were forced into making difficult saves to keep their teams afloat.

And when London finally broke through in the second half it took something extra special.

Dino Hajdarpasic threaded a pass into the foot of Jacob Luis who took it on the hop and buried his shot past the outstretched arms of the Woodbridge keeper to make it 1-0.

David Cubillos would extend the London lead to 2-0 on a great individual effort that ended with the defender shooting across his body to find the far corner of the net.

That would be all they would need as London would win the U-16 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup.
