Three of the six Ontario teams that traveled across the country to compete in the Toyota National Championships found their way on to the podium.

The Burlington Bayhawks U-17 Girls, the Durham Celtic Men and the North Mississauga U-17 Boys all brought home hardware from their respective divisions.

Durham Celtic capture bronze

Durham Celtic went undefeated throughout the entire Toyota National Championships but would have to settle for winning a bronze medal.

During their group stage play, Durham won twice and drew twice, good enough to finish second in their group.

They would face Saskatoon Husa Alumni FC, who also finished second in their group.

Durham were dominant in the bronze medal match-up, downing the team from the prarie province, 3-1.

Durham's tournament dominance saw them rack up 17 goals over five games, a tournament best. They also only allowed six goals throughout the five days, second only the eventual gold medal winners Western Halifax FC.

Scarborough GS United finished fourth in the Jubilee Trophy

Scarborough GS United finished their tournament on a high note.

After a loss and a draw in the opening round of the Jubilee Trophy, Scarborough won their final two matches to finish fourth at Nationals.

In their final game of the tournament, they downed CS Mont-Royal Outremont by a score of 2-0. Goals came from Murchie and Kodee Williams.

Burlington Bayhawks settle for silver

Quebec's CS Lakeshore are the U-17 Cup Girls National Champions after topping Ontario's Burlington Bayhawks in penalty kicks at the Teck Finals Day Final Match in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

On the girls' side, scoring in the first half was tight, with goals coming fast and furious. Brianna Mascia opened it up with a goal for Burlington around the fourth minute, but Magalie Depot answered with a goal for Lakeshore just over a minute later. It wasn't tied at 1 - all for long, as Jessica De Filippo made it 2 - 1 for Lakeshore around the seventh minute. Lakeshore led going into the second half. A late goal from Burlington's Tiana Bucknor tied it up at 2 - all around the 64th minute, and the match entered into extra time.

After thirty intense, scoreless minutes of extra time, the game headed into penalty kicks. Magalie Depot took the first kick for Lakeshore, and found the net. Danica Ceolaro answered for Burlington. From there it went one-for-one. Also taking penalty kicks for Lakeshore were Marika Guay, Latifah Abdu and Lara Kazandijian. Burlington answered with kicks from Leag Simon, Mairin Boyle, and Tiana Bucknor. But Burlington's Madelyn Robbins couldn't beat Lakeshore goalkeeper Chloé Dion, and Lakeshore found themselves the winners of a hard-fought Teck Finals Day Final Match and Canada Soccer's Toyota National Championships U-17 Cup girls champions.

Burlington's Brianna Mascia and Abbigayle Morrell finished tied for most goals in the tournament with six a a piece.
