Defeat Grand River Rangers 3-2 at Birchmount Stadium

Play. Inspire. Unite.

A brace from London Marconi Azzurri's Katherine Esch would prove to be the difference in the Women's Masters Championship Sunday at Birchmount Stadium.

Esch would open the scoring for London in the 22nd minute.

London's Holly Fairweather would add to their lead only 8 minutes later when her strike found the back of the net to make it 2-0.

The Grand River Rangers would quickly answer back though in the 36th minute when Courtney Swann opened the scoring for her squad.

Grand River would start fast after the re-start and draw level thanks to Catherine Vanderburgh's good work in the 56th minute which made it 2-2.

It would stay that way until the 74th minute when Esch took control once again and would seal the game with her second goal on the day and secure the title for London.

With the win, London becomes only the second team to win three consecutive championships.
