Ontario has advanced to the 2017 Canada Games gold medal match and will face Alberta, a re-match from the group stage.
The ten-man Ontario squad advanced to the final by putting on a masterful performance in defeating their rivals from Quebec 2-0.
A penalty conversion by Monti Mohsen immediately after the re-start and a Ryan Raposo goal ten minutes from full-time were the lift Ontario needed after they played a man down for much of the second half.
Ontario now faces Alberta, who they defeated in the group stage 1-0, Saturday, Aug. 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The game will be carried live on TSN and you can also watch it on SportsCanada.tv.
