The U-18 Boys featured the Toronto Cherry Beach taking on the North Scarborough Attack in an entertaining affair.

North Scarborough were on the front early on with a number of chances in on net.

But Cherry Beach goaltender Adam Ierullo made several spectacular saves to keep the game scoreless through the first 10 minutes.

North Scarborough’s Christopher Badibengi would break the deadlock when he got in behind the defender and got his shot off just before the touchline. His shot went short side and gave the Attack a 1-0 lead.

Badibengi would make it 2-0 moments later when a long cross in found his foot and he beat the Cherry Beach keeper.

Ierullo would continue to hold his team in it during the second half making numerous point blank chances that allowed Cherry Beach to hang around, even if their finishing wasn’t there at the other end.

North Scarborough would seal it though when Carlos Pesso-Lyndon broke down the wing and his long-shot would make it 3-0.

That would be all they would need and they would cruise to victory and claim the U-18 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup championship.
