The U-16 Girls Ontario Indoor Cup final featured Brams United taking on CAF – Toronto International Youth Futbol Club.

Both teams struggled to build momentum during the opening ten minutes with lots of possession play but chances few and far between.

With six minutes remaining in the first half though CAF finally broke through when Jade Rose took her opportunity on the edge of the box and buried her shot to make it 1-0.

Moments later CAF’s Abby Davis drew a foul on the edge of the box but Brams would defend the ensuring free kick and keep things at 1-0.

With 15 minutes remaining in the second half, Brams’ hard work would pay off as Josepha Tshisuaka would find herself on the edge of the box and she made no mistake as her hard, low shot found the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1.

The two teams would trade chances down the stretch run but neither could find a way through and the game went to penalties.

Both keepers made saves in the penalties but CAF's Salena Kumar-Narayan came out on top with a pair of saves to secure the Ontario Indoor Cup title for her team.
