For those who have never been, the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame induction night is like no other.
Canadian soccer stars, past and present, known and those who worked behind the scenes, gather to celebrate the successes the soccer community has had. It's filled with heart felt speeches, touching moments and a number of inspiring moments.
To give you a taste of what's to come, first watch the video from the night's keynote speaker, Chris Rudge. Rudge is the Executive Chairman of the Toronto Argonauts and the former CEO of the Vancouver Olympics. His 20 minute talk spoke about how they were able to put elite athletes on the podium, why Ontario should challenge itself from the same vein with its high performance athletes and put the good of the game at the front of everyone's mind.
It's an inspiring speech and one that set the tone for the evening.
