League1 Ontario action continued on the Mother's Day weekend, as it rounded out with four teams tied at the top of the table.

Spectators at the Toronto FC Academy and Sigma FC game spent much of the afternoon on the edge of their seats in an exciting, high scoring match that ultimately left the home team without a win. TFCA's Steven Furlano was shown his second caution in the 75th minute of the match, which Sigma FC followed up on and scored the match winner within minutes of regulation time. Sigma FC's goal scorers were Dominic Samuel, Alex Halls, Manvir Brar, and Nolan Holdridge. Toronto FC Academy's three goals came from Nicholas Osorio, Cyrus Rollocks, and Richie Ennin.

Windsor Stars beat Sanjaxx Lions 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to earn their first three points of the season. The Lions strong defense broke down after their central defender was injured, and allowed for Windsor to finally net a 87th minute tiebreaker. Stars' veterans Stephen Ademolu and Gino Berardi both scored for their side, while Joel Anderson netted the Lions' only goal.

With Sunday's 2-0 win against the Woodbridge Strikers, Oakville Blue Devils earns another three points and has yet to give up a goal to their opponents. The turning point in the game was when striker Eduardo Filice converted on a penalty kick in the 22nd minute after the Strikers were carded on a foul. They continued on with this momentum and held strong possession, allowing Anthony Doran to add another goal just before half time.

ANB Futbol scored a late goal to end their match against Pro Stars FC with a 2-2 draw. ANB striker Jason Mills scored the opener in the fourth minute, which PFC's Mujtabe Ameen responded to quickly with a penalty in the seventh minute. Pro Stars converted again in the 77th minute, keeping ANB on their toes but was denied a win as PFC's David Alva scored a 90th minute equalizer.

Kingston Clippers also tied their game against Master's FA Saints, with a 1-1 result. Clippers' Andrew Martin was the first to score, and Master's Michael Bershov followed with the equalizer. Kingston had a disallowed goal in the fifth minute of the match, which Chris Eveleigh (Technical Director) attributed as a key moment in the match for his side.

Durham United FC played host to the Sanjaxx Lions and romped to a 4-0 victory, their second clean sheet of the season. Durham United's Marcus Lees and Martinho Dumevski both scored a brace to keep their side tied at the top of the table. Sanjaxx attributed their loss to a failure to pressure DUFC when they gained possession.

Windsor Stars dropped points at home in their second game this weekend against Vaughan Azzurri. Vaughan Azzurri scored two quick goals in the first twenty minutes from Dayonn Harris and Dena Lezady, which led them to their 2-1 victory. Striker Gino Berardi scored the only goal for the Stars in the 38th minute, as his side could not find a way to even up the match.
