This past weekend, teams in both League1 Ontario Men's division and Women's division fought hard to solidify their places in the table.

Men's Division

Vaughan Azzurri and ANB Futbol, both in the top four of the league, faced each other in Sunday's match and yielded a point each as they tied at 2-2.

TFC Academy drew on the momentum from their previous win to beat Sanjaxx Lions 4-0 in their second win of the 2015 season.

In a high scoring match, Windsor Stars soared to victory with a 7-2 win against Pro Stars F.C. on Saturday night.

Sigma F.C. and Durham United F.C. secured a point each after they scored two goals each in a hard fought tie.

Women's Division

ANB Futbol defeated Sanjaxx Lions with one strike scored in the 28th minute of Sunday morning's match.

With better luck than their men's team, Vaughan Azzurri's women's team came out of the weekend with three points after beating North Mississauga with two early goals in a match ending in 2-1.

Durham United FC dominated on their way to a 3-0 win over the Woodbridge Strikers, spoliing their hosts big opening weekend celebrations.
