OSA Sends Condolences To Friends And Family Of Artur Rodrigues

As President of The Ontario Soccer Association, I would like to extend our sincere condolences from our provincial soccer family to the friends and family of Artur Rodrigues.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, relatives and friends at this time.

Artur was well respected and well known in the Canadian Soccer community. He played for Benfica of Lisbon and coached various teams in the NSL to championships. He was a Senior Provincial Coach for the Ontario Soccer Association and coached the Toronto Metros of the NASL where he took the club to a divisional championship.

His impact on soccer will be felt for a great many generations and he will be deeply missed.

The Funeral Service will take place at York Cemetery, at 160 Beecroft Road Toronto, Ontario. Saturday, June 27.
