Watch The Press Conference And Interviews With New OPDL Members

The Ontario Soccer Association announced the new member organizations in the 2016-2017 Ontario Player Development League today. 

The press conference, was hosted at the Ontario Soccer Centre. 

The announcement included the introduction of the member organizations (Athletic Institute Football Club, SC Toronto, North Mississauga Panthers and Oakville SC), comments from OSA President Ron Smale and OSA Technical Director Gary Miller.

Athlete Institute FC

Gordon Fisher, President of Athlete Institute FC, speaks about what an OPDL license means to athletes in their region, the process of applying and what their vision for high performance is.

North Mississauga

Oakville SC

Dave Harris, Executive Director of Oakville SC, speaks on what OPDL will mean for their community, what they went through in applying and the moment they found out they'd been approved.

SC Toronto

Joe Nucifora, Technical Director of SC Toronto, on why they wanted to add OPDL to their program offerings, what they went through to prepare for high performance and what it will mean to their members to have OPDL.
