The Masters Final between Scarborough Wexford Hi Profile and London Apollo FC may have been short on youth but wasn't lacking anything on talent.
Darryl Gomez would open the scoring with some nifty work as he put Scarborough Wexford on the board, making it 1-0 in the early going.
Shortly after, Apollo nearly caught Wexford keeper Gregory Drakes off his line when a challenge went errant but an open net chance went begging when the ball skipped wide.
Scarborough's Tommy Kousmanis would make it 2-0, when he curled a beautiful free kick with his left foot, just over the wall and down under the London Apollo keeper for the second Wexford goal.
Apollo continued to press through the second half and after some solid pressure were rewarded with a penalty in the 78th minute. James Welsh did the business and converted from the spot to bring Apollo within one.
Tiger Fitzpatrick would seal it for Scarborough though when he was sent in alone from Fitzhayden Fitzwilliams. Fitzpatrick would round the Apollo keeper in the 90th minute and make it 3-1.
Scarborough Wexford Hi Profile claims the Masters title.
