Eight Ontario teams have qualified for the Canada Soccer National Club Championships and two more have qualified for the Classics and Masters Regional Championships.
Nearly 2,500 fans came to the Ontario Soccer Centre Stadium this past weekend to take in the finals of the Ontario Cup, the culmination of months of work for many teams.
Despite poor weather conditions, high-level soccer was on display from U-14 up to the Senior levels.
The Canada Soccer Club Nationals now take place Oct. 7-12 in host cities across the country for U-14, U-16, U-18 and Women's and Men's divisions. The U-17 divisions will represent Ontario in the U-18 Nationals. You can find more information on the tournament here.
Six more Ontario Cup finals will take place Sept 19 and 20 at the Ontario Soccer Centre. Come see some of the best soccer in the province on display.
