The U-13 Boys Ontario Cup Final saw some fantastic open play from boy the Brampton East Blast and East Hamilton FC.

Despite a scoreless first half both sides had their chances. Hamilton's Malik Henry did great work down the wing resulting in several opportunities in the box.

Brampton's Oluwaseun Oyeguni held Brampton's backline together and played several dangerous balls down field to keep their attack moving forward.

If the first half was devoid of scoring, the second half aimed to change that.

Brampton got things going just a minute after the restart Sulayman Afzali got in behind the Hamilton backline and made no mistake to put his team up 1-0.

Hamilton would try desperately to draw even for the remainder of the half, as chance after chance went begging.

Just when it looked as though they would not be able to find the equalizer Joseph Zrinscak made a tremendous individual effort to get it into the box. With a clever little back heel, he left the ball on a platter for Lucas Klakulak who levelled the game in extra time and send the final to penalties.

A couple of mistakes from the penalty spot would prove to be the difference however as Brampton won 2-0 on penalties.
