The Canada Soccer 2015 Sport Chek National Championships is one of Canada's largest national amateur competition to take place across the country in various age categories and showcases the nation's best soccer clubs in a series of week-long tournaments. The coast to coast competition is set to kick off this Wednesday, October 7 in St. John's, NL; Surrey, BC; Charlottetown, PE; and Calgary, AB and will conclude with Teck Finals Day on Monday, October 12.

"The National Championships are an exciting opportunity for all involved to experience competing on the national stage while testing themselves on and off the field through fair play, integrity and sportsmanship," says Canada Soccer President Victor Montagliani. "We encourage all participants to take advantage of this occasion and represent their Province and team to the best of their ability, enjoy their time on the pitch and explore their host region. We wish all participating clubs the best in their respective tournaments."

Canada Soccer has been running this annual competition since 1913. It started with the Men's Challenge Trophy and, over time, has expanded to include the Women's Jubilee Trophy as well as three separate youth cups for both boys and girls. This year, 86 teams will be competing in four separate locations across the country, with a total of 1,540 players active over the week.

Calgary, AB: Men's Challenge & Women's Jubilee Trophy

The Challenge Trophy features 12 teams divided into four groups, while eight teams, broken into two groups, will vie for the Jubilee Trophy.

Of note, a live stream of the Men's Challenge Trophy semifinals on Sunday, 11 October, as well as the Women's Jubilee Trophy and Men's Challenge Trophy championships matches on Teck Finals Day Monday, 12 October, will be available on the competition website.

Charlottetown, PE: U-18 Cup (boys and girls)

Both the boys' and girls' competitions feature 10 teams, divided into two divisions.

The boys' competition features 10 teams, divided into two groups, while the girls' contains 12 teams, separated into four groups.
