Cyle Larin, who hails from Brampton, ON, has been selected as a finalist for the MLS Rookie of the Year award.

Larin, who previously played for Sigma FC in League1 Ontario. finished tied for fifth in league scoring with 17 goals, which included four game-winning goals and it was the most goals every by a rookie in MLS.

The official announcement will be made Nov. 10 but Larin is believed to be a shoe-in for the honours.
