As 2015 winds down, we're looking back at some of the best moments we've captured from Ontario Soccer Association events this year.

From Ontario Cup to League1 Ontario to OPDL and beyond, the underlying thread is the passion for the game that we all share.

Relive the best moments from 2015

The Inter-Provincial Cup

As League1 Ontario entered its second year of existence, so too did the Inter-Provincial Cup. As the top team from Ontario faced off against the top team from Quebec once again, the cup competition reached new heights as it captured attention from across the country. The Oakville Blue Devils, who downed CS Mont-Royal Outremont Griffons 5-3 on aggregate, ensured the trophy would remain in Ontario for another year.

Ontario Cup

The province's premier provincial competition lived up to its hype with another year of exciting finals across a number of divisions. This year also marked the 100th year of competition for the tournament and all of the finals were once again broadcasted on the OSA's Livestream channel.

OPDL Enters Second Year

In 2015, we would see OPDL enter its second season, which meant another age group of players was added by the License holders to the province's highest level of development. As the fruits of their labour have begun to show on the field, so too has the professionalism with which the league carries itself off it. Additionally, another round of license holders were approved for launch in 2016 and the league continues to grow.

Watch Gary Miller, the OSA's Technical Director, speak about the vision for OPDL

New Soccer Centre stadium opens

The OSA were joined by League1 Ontario, Toronto FC II and the City of Vaughan as part of the Grand Opening of the Ontario Soccer Centre Stadium that marked a new era for all three partners. The outdoor facility now boasts bleacher seating accommodating 2,000 spectators and a FIFA 2-star quality turf. FIFA awards 2-star quality turf designations only for professional-level soccer fields.

Ontario Futsal League Cup

Futsal Club Toronto would capture the inaugural Ontario Futsal League Cup by downing Barrie Futsal Club 5-2 in the final. The winner of the competition would go on to play in the Canadian championships. Futsal Club Toronto would also win that.

Soccer Development Conference

Last year's Soccer Development Conference reached new heights with a new venue, bigger audiences and broader offerings. Coaches, match officials and administrators descended on Waterloo's RIM Park for two days of elite learning sessions. Now rebranded as the OSA Soccer Summit, the 2016 event is shaping up to be the must-attend development opportunity of the year.

Special Olympics

Held on the Ontario Cup finals weekend, the Special Olympics tournament showcases the very best of what we hope our game will be. Passion, sportsmanship and team work are always on full display, and the joy the participants experienced in playing the game is truly something to behold.

Ontario Indoor Cup

An annual event, the Ontario Indoor Cup is the first competition of the year for most clubs and offers the opportunity to get your year off on the right foot. This year's installment kicks off on Jan. 23-24 and Feb. 6-7.

Hall of Fame Golf tournament

The Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame golf tournament is the annual fundraiser in support of the Hall. This year's tournament featured participants from across Ontario.

Meritorious Service Awards

At the 28th Annual Centre Circle Awards in April, the OSA recognized the lasting contribution individuals and organizations have made to the "Beautiful Game" in the province. Nominations from OSA Members are taken each year for these prestigious honours. This year's Meritorious Service Awards will be presented at the OSA's Annual General Meeting.
