The U-16 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup final between the Brampton Blast and Erin Mills was a back and forth affair as both teams tried to stretch the field, making for a wide open game.

Erin Mills would have the bulk of the chances in the opening half but despite several clear opportunities they were unable to convert the final touch.

Brampton would escape to the half tied at 0-0.

With 17 minutes left in the second half, Erin Mills would finally break the deadlock. Anthony Curic found himself all alone in front of the net and would easily convert to give his squad a 1-0.

The goal seemed to wake up Brampton who would increase the intensity ten fold in the minutes that followed.

Brampton answered back almost immediately when Benjamin Paton converted his chance to tie it at 1-1.

Daniel Mun would keep things rolling for Brampton with 10 minutes remaining, as he slid the ball into the back of the net, making it 2-1 and giving the Blast their first lead of the game.

Joseph Macaron sealed the win for Brampton after a quick restart off a quick free kick. Macaron followed up his own pass to slot home the third goal, which would be enough as Brampton were crowed U-16 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup champions.
