The U-14 Girls Ontario Indoor Cup final between Unionville Milliken Strikers and AG London showcased some very well organized soccer by two of the best Soccer for Life teams in the province.

Mya Couto opened the scoring for AG London when she started a play from a corner kick, then finished.

Asia King would do the hard work on AG London’s second goal as she battled to move the ball to the edge of the Unionville box. Ally Hicks would be the recipient of that good work as she found herself all alone in the front of the net after a King pass. Hicks made no mistake in making it 2-0 for AG London.

Olivia Lopardo would pull one back for Unionville when her indirect free kick deflected into the net off the AG London keeper, making it 2-1 with seven minutes left in the first half.

Kaila Novak would answer right back for AG London with a clinical finish off a turnover made it 3-1 just before the half.

A Unionville corner would result in their second goal when AG London’s keeper was able to get a hand to it but not control the rebound. The ball fell right to the foot of Reiley Eppich and she made it 3-2.

Emily Andrus would restore the two goal lead for London, making it 4-2, with a great solid individual effort concluded with a shot that found the top corner of the net.
