The U-13 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup final, between AG London and Woodbridge Strikers, was a largely defensive affair that showcased the skills of both keepers.

With both teams trading chances throughout the first half, AG London’s Bishop Kaiser and Woodbridge’s Alessio Carbone, were called on to make several saves in the first half. Thanks in large part to their efforts the game remained 0-0 through the first 25 minutes.

The second half would be much of the same until about 10 minutes remaining when a Woodbridge cross took a fluky deflection off an AG London defender and found its way into the back of the net for the first goal of the game. Woodbridge’s Kwasi Poku was credited with the goal.

With three minutes remaining, Woodbridge’s Gian Luca Muia put the game out of reach. Having just checked into the game Muia calmly slotted home a cross to make it 2-0.

That would be all Woodbridge needed as they captured the U-13 Boys Ontario Indoor Cup.
