The Ontario Provincial Teams will take on provincial teams from Quebec this weekend at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

Scouts from the male and female Canadian national teams, as well as University coaches from across Canada and United States, will be in attendance to take in the action and see some of the best of what Ontario has to offer.

"Our provincial programs continue to be the next step in development for a number of our young players," said Gary Miller, OSA Technical Director. "This an opportunity for each of these athletes to showcase their skills against other high-level programs."

Matches for boys and girls at the U-14, U-15 and U-16 age groups will run all weekend and kick off April 23 with all of the age groups in action that evening.

"This crop of players represents the best players our development system has created at the U-14 to U-16 age range," said Bryan Rosenfeld, OSA Manager of High Performance. "We're beginning to see the fruits of the labour of OPDL, Ontario's standards-based league."

If you would like to attend the games this weekend, all of the matches are open to the public.
