London Marconi Azzurri used a pair of 1-0 wins over the weekend to capture back-to-back Women's Masters Provincial Championships.

The Azzurri faced the North Toronto Elites in the semi-final on Saturday.

Their 1-0 win over the Elites was enough to place them into the title match. Previously, they had defeated the Byron Fury 5-3 in the quarterfinals to start their campaign.

The Azzurri would face the Ottawa City Soccer Club Royals in the final.

The Royals had also defeated the Grand River Rangers FC 1-0 in their semi-final on Saturday to book their place in Sunday's contest.

The two teams battled back and forth in this tightly contested Over-30 Women's game.

While both teams had ample chances, it would be Erin Van Dam who would find a way through for the Azzurri.

Her lone marker would be good enough as Heather Ireland closed the door the rest of the way for London and secured the Women's Masters Provincial Championship
