The U-15 Boys Tier 2 Ontario Cup Final, presented by Room Roster, featured North York CAF – ADP taking on Toronto USC Karpaty.

North York got things going early as they worked the ball down the pitch into a dangerous position and the left footed shot of Matthew Walraven found the back of the net to make it 1-0.

The weather was making it difficult on the day, with extended periods of heavy rain making it hard to string passes together.

Both squads dug in and when finesse went absence, good hard-nosed tackles stepped in.

That hustle helped Karpaty get on the board as their strikers forced a loose ball to bounce off the North York defender and skipped past the goalie for an own goal that tied the game up at 1-1.

Karpaty took the lead just before the half when the long free kick of Michael Okunsky skipped up off the turf and fooled the North York keeper, to give Toronto USC a 2-1 lead.

Matthew Moskal increased the Karpaty lead in the 71st minute when a free kick cross dropped into the box and he performed some acrobatics before chipping the keeper to make it 3-1. That would be all they needed as the Toronto USC Karpaty captured the U-15 Boys Tier 2 Ontario Cup title.
