The U-13 Boys Ontario Cup Final, presented by Room Roster, was contested by the East York Predators and Woodbridge Strikers.

The Predators carried the play for most of the first half, having the bulk of the chances but a substitution in the 28th minute resulted in the game’s first goal for Woodbridge.

Kwasi Poku did some fantastic work on the ball in the corner, beating several defenders and whipping his cross in to the box. The cross found the head of Roddick James Phillip who headed it down to the substitute Edward Bonsu, who all he need to do was tap it into the net to give the Strikers a 1-0 lead.

Woodbridge would increase their lead early in the second half when a cross into the box again created havoc for East York.

A chance would once again find the foot of Bonsu who made no mistake in shepparding the ball across the line and making it 2-0 for the Strikers.

Bonsu put the final nail in the coffin late in the second half, converting a third goal and sealing the win for the Woodbridge Strikers and capturing the Ontario Cup championship.
