Both teams would go back and forth with their chances but just moments before the halftime whistle, Windsor would regain the lead when Noah Mueller jumped on a loose ball in the Mississauga box and buried to the far side with his left foot.
If the first half was an exhibition in offence prowess the second half was dominated by defensive abilities.
Mississauga tried desperately to level the score as the second half wore on but their chances were turned away time and again by Windsor’s organized backline.
There were some chances late but Windsor held on and captured the U-16 Boys Tier 2 Ontario Cup title.
