It was another first for Ontario and Canada this week.

Brampton's Atiba Hutchinson, who also played his youth career in Scarborough and for the Toronto Lynx, became the first Canadian to wear the captains arm band for a team in the UEFA Champions League.

Hutchinson's Beşiktaş, of the Turkish Super Lig, drew Dynamo Kiev in Group B action to hold on to second place with four games remaining in the group.

Hutchinson, who has previous Champions League action with FC København, is among a select group of five Canadians who have played in the Champions League.

Tomasz Radzinski, Paul Stalteri (Etobicoke), Lars Hirschfeld and Milan Borjan (Hamilton) round out the group.
