The 62 youth squads for the 2016 Sport Chek National Championships have been submitted and published on CanadaSoccer.com ahead of next week's competition. More than 1,000 teen soccer players will compete in the competitions from October 5-10 in Moncton, New Brunswick (U-14 Cup), Lethbridge, Ontario (U-16 Cup), and Vaughan, Ontario (U-18 Cup).

From 1,096 registered players, there are 739 players making their debut at the Sport Chek National Championships (67%). From 357 returning players, most of them will feature at the U-18 Cup where 207 have previously featured at a Canada Soccer youth competition (at any level).

This year's lineup also features 39 players that have appeared in Canada Soccer's EXCEL Program, including four who featured at this summer's CONCACAF Girls' Under-15 Championship (Mya Jones with Calgary Foothills U-16, Lara Kazandjian with CS Lakeshore U-16, Sydney Kennedy with FC Suburban U-16, and Julianne Vallerand with AS Varennes U-18).

Canada Soccer’s Sport Chek National Championships run in Moncton, New Brunswick, Lethbridge, Alberta, Vaughan, Ontario, and St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. At all age levels, the Sport Check National Championships provide a meaningful soccer experience for host cities and participating teams, as well as the players, coaches, support staff, officials, and volunteers.
