Ontario At The Sport Chek National Championships | Day 3 Results

The Sport Chek National Championship picture became clearer for Ontario teams following Day 3 of competition. 

Ontario teams went undefeated on the day, as a couple of squads moved themselves into title contention. 

Men 

Ottawa Gloucester Celtic booked their place in the quarterfinals with a 4-1 win. Read the story.

Women

Scarborough GS United continued their dominance with a 3-0 win. Read the story 

U-18 Boys 

The Woodbridge Strikers edged Codiac Soccer 2-1 to keep their Gold medal hopes alive. Read the story

U-18 Girls 

Saltfleet Stoney Creek drew Edmonton 1-1 to keep themselves in the mix. Read the story

U-16 Boys 

Scarborough Wexford Stingers continued to roll with a 2-0 win. Read the story. 

U-16 Girls 

The Woodbridge Strikers won 4-1 over FC Northwest. Read the story

U-14 Boys 

Brampton East thrashed the Yukon 7-0. Read the story.

Sport Chek National Championships

Canada Soccer’s Sport Chek National Championships run October 5-10 2016, with the adult amateur competitions hosted this year in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador. At all age levels, the Sport Check National Championships provide a meaningful soccer experience for host cities and participating teams, as well as the players, coaches, support staff, officials, and volunteers.
